As mobile games become more popular, they are also becoming more sophisticated. Unfortunately, not everyone has the means to play mobile games. Believe it or not, some people don’t have smart phones. Others, like myself, lack the deftness to play an MMO on tiny touch screen. Luckily, it’s actually quite easy to play mobile games on your computer. All you need to do is follow these three easy steps and you’ll be able to play today’s hottest mobile games on the comfort of your desktop.
Step 1: Download and Install an Android emulator.
BlueStacks is by far the best Android emulator because it’s available on both Windows and iOS and the entire thing is less than 300MB. You can also use Andy the Android Emulator or Droid4x, but BlueStacks is typically more reliable. Keep in mind that every app you download in the Play Store will be locally stored on your hard drive too.
Step 2: Launch the emulator and download a game.
Once you launch the Android emulator of your choice, you’ll no doubt notice that the emulator looks a lot like an Android device. Use your desktop’s mouse or trackpad as the touch input device as using your fingers will only serve to gunk up your screen with fingerprints. Hit the Search button to access the Google Play Store. From there find and download the mobile game you’ve been eager to try, just like you would if you were on a mobile device. All you need to do is log into your Google account, find a game, download it and you should be good to go. If you do not have a Google account, where you been the last decade?
Step 3: Have fun.
It’s really as simple as that. Keep in mind that because you are using an Android emulator, not every game will work perfectly. Vainglory, for example, is really finicky. Mobile MMOs Stellacept Online and Fate/Grand Order run just fine though. Browse around, find which mobile games work and enjoy playing mobile games on your big screen desktop!
