GTA 6 in Production, According to Actor’s Resume

But likely won’t release for a while.

Grand Theft Auto 6 could be in production, at least if actor Tim Neff’s resume is anything to go by.

Neff’s resume surfaced on a NeoGAF forum, and appeared to show that his latest work was motion capturing for Grand Theft Auto 6, alongside a similar job for Red Dead Redemption 2.

It all sounds like fanfare to begin with, but the actor’s Instagram account suggests otherwise: in October 2016 and February 2017 he checked in to the Rockstar San Diego studios.

What’s more, motion capture tends to take place towards the latter stages of video game development, suggesting that Grand Theft Auto 6 could release sooner than we thought.

However, with Red Dead Redemption 2 releasing in April next year, it’s unlikely that Rockstar will release its biggest franchise within the next year and a half, meaning a 2019 release is more likely.

What this may confirm, though, is that Grand Theft Auto 6 is real – like we didn’t know already.

  1. Ever since the beginning of GTA I’ve played on my first home desktop. It was a dawn of a new gaming era. One that would surly out do the rest or stand next to the greatest games invented. I’ve bought and played every version of GTA and believe with the last GTA that there would be a required lead into the future of this game, again separating the okay games from the legends, with technology always on the advancement day by day I believe that GTA can be something more than the next expected version for game platforms. With Virtual Reality. Augment Reality, 4K and more technological advances I know that GTA could do more or be more. I hope to see maybe VR for GTA 6, or more in game features. I once played a game that you could play without the loading process and that was back in my younger years. I would hope to see a possible good guy side of the GTA 6, such like playing the role of a cop, FBI agent, or even secret service. And more freedom for the villain in the GTA 6, maybe being able to travel longer distance from major city to major city. For example, Atlanta Ga, to California back to New York or Washington DC. Better enhanced challenges, such like home invasions, being able to rob random people on the streets. And even improved the multiplayer world, that could carry over some benefits of character into the single player world. This is my opinion being a fan since the beginning living in the world of technology.
