Say what you will about the Super Bowl, but my favourite tradition is now the episodes of Clueless Gamer we are treated to starring Conan O’Brien and players from the Super Bowl teams. For this Super Bowl edition of Clueless Gamer, Conan sat down with Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller and Carolina Pathers cornerback Josh Norman to give the new DOOM game a try.
Much like last time, the majority of the video is spent on the players making their way through the game while Conan sits back and acknowledges just how graphic it is. Like most episodes of the web special, Conan acts overly confused while they’re playing the game, butting in with a series of questions for Miller and Norman.
There isn’t too much Doom footage shown off, but there are a few glimpses of what fans of the game can expect from the new title. Hint: there are moments of violence that will shock you if video games haven’t already completely desensitized you to that sort of thing.
Watch Sunday’s opponents set aside their differences in order to enjoy a friendly game of DOOM with their friend Conan O’Brien and another special guest.
Doom hits Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on May 13. Bethesda announced a collector’s edition for the game on Thursday, which includes a 12-inch statue of the Revenant demon. The special edition will go for $119.99.
Meanwhile, the Super Bowl is this Sunday and according to EA’s Madden 16 simulation, Carolina will win.
