How To Win $5,000 by Playing Pokemon GO

Finding rare Pokemon has always been a challenge in any Pokemon title, but the challenge has reached new heights now that players need to physically travel to find rare Pokemon in Pokemon GO.

To reward the amazing achievement that is finding a rare Pokemon in Pokemon GORipley’s Believe It or Not has promised big prizes to the players with the rarest catches.

In order to be eligible for the contest, players will need to travel to any Ripley’s Believe It or Not location and find rare Pokemon somewhere nearby. They will then have to share an image of the captured Pokemon and submit the photo via social media, which will give them a chance to win a daily prize of $100 and a grand prize of $5,000.

The grand prize will be given to the player who catches the rarest Pokemon near their locations at the end of contest on July 24th. If there is a tie, the one who caught the rarest Pokemon first will be the winner. So fingers crossed that you find Pokemon GO‘s one-of-a-kind Mew next to a Ripley’s.

This fan made image below, though not officially confirmed yet, shows which Pokemon are considered to be the most rare:

One problem with the contest is that no one can assure that rare Pokemon will appear at a Ripley’s location, which can result in a catcher of common Pokemon winning the contest. To add to this there can also be a lot of Photoshopped entries in the contest as the contest is social media based. This could easily see someone undeserving win the contest over deserved ones. But the chance to win $5,000 for catching an Abra next to a Ripley‘s Believe It or Not still sounds pretty sweet.

The last of submission of entries in the contest is July 24 using social media sites.
