Latent Final Fantasy 14 subscribers are getting rewarded with free gameplay this month.
If you dropped your Final Fantasy 14 subscription since the release of the game’s first expansion pack, Heavensward, this past summer or if you’ve had an account at some point but haven’t subscribed recently, you are in luck. Square Enix wants you to revisit Eorzea and have some high-fantasy MMO fun for no extra cost.
As posted on Final Fantasy 14’s official fan site, The Lodestone, Square Enix will allow users with lapsed subscriptions to log in for free and play for up to 96 hours throughout the month of December. This is limited to players who have a fully registered and purchased version of Final Fantasy 14, with an inactive account for at least the past 30 days.
The offer begins today and runs until 6:59 am Pacific Standard Time on December 31st. The 96 free hours begin from the moment you log in and end four days later at 11:59 pm your local time. In other words, don’t log in to Final Fantasy 14 until you are officially on Christmas vacation. With all the new story quests, raids and the Gold Saucer mini-game, you’ll want to take full advantage of the 96 free hours.
