The weekend is finally here, which means we are finally free from our responsibilities for 48 hours to game non-stop. The Weekend Play List where GameAddik.com’s staff shares which games they will be playing all weekend long.
So what’s on the inaugural Weekend Play List?
1. The Witness
The Witness is a 3D puzzle video game created by Jonathan Blow, where players must explore an open world island filled with a number of natural and man-made structures. Progression is based on interacting with mazes on panels around the island and solving the puzzles presented through both visual clues around the island and through audio logs that the player can find.
Exploring a puzzle-filled open island with almost no instruction harkens back to our days getting lost in Myst.
RATING: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE.
2. Tom Clancy’s The Division (Beta)
Survival shooter The Division may still only be in beta but it’s still jam packed with edge of your seat action. Is there anything better than exploring a deserted New York City while avoiding infected freaks? No. There is not.
3. Saints Row Undercover
When we first saw the video above a week ago, we lamented the fact that Saints Row Undercover was lost to the ages. However, that’s no longer the case. Earlier today, Volition made the cancelled Saints Row game available for free download. We don’t think regular gamers have ever been given the opportunity to try a cancelled game before, so we are going to make the most of this opportunity. Details on how to get the cancelled Saints Row game here.
4. Star Wars: The Old Republic
EA is pushing Star Wars: The Old Republic hard by promising to release new content every month and that promise certainly has us interested in returning to the MMORPG. The best part about returning to the MMORPG now is that we can immediately jump to level 60, so the discrepancy between veterans and n00bs won’t be so glaring. Plus, it’s free!
RATING: 10/10 Midichlorians
