The Zombies Chronicles DLC will release for Black Ops 3, giving players the chance to play eight classic Zombies maps from past Treyarch games.
There was nothing surprising about the imminent launch of Zombies Chronicles, as leaks continued to build up in the lead up to the reveal. What was surprising, however, was the unsuual way the announcement was made: Jason Blundell, Co-Studio Head of Treyarch, turned up to YouTuber JCBackfire’s house and unzipped his hoodie, revealing a Zombies Chronicle t-shirt underneath. He then showed pulled out a timeline of the Zombies maps which is difficult to see, but luckily it’s now been uploaded to the Call of Duty website.
The eight maps receiving the treatment and the games they first appeared in are:
World at War
- Nacht de Untoten
- Shi No Numa
- Kino der Toten
Black Ops 2
Treyarch will be showing a livestream for Zombies Chronicles next Monday 8th, so we’ll know much more by then. The Zombies Chronicles DLC is scheduled to release May 16th.
