4. Red Dead Redemption 2
Yee-haw partners! We’re riding back into the good old wild west. Prequel to Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption, RDR2 will put players into the shoes of Arthur Morgan, a member of Dutch Van der Linde’s gang.
Being set in 1906, John Marston should be making an appearance this time around as well. Before being critically injured and left for dead by the Van der Linde gang during a botched robbery in 1906, Marston and the gang wreaked havoc across the wild American frontier, and now players will be taking part in all that juicy, bloody chaos.
In addition to gunslinging in single player, players and their friends can posse up in a promisingly deep and interactive multiplayer experience, most likely on par with mega-hit Grand Theft Auto Online.
Dust your cowboy hat off, throw back some moonshine, and ready your revolver. Red Dead Redemption rides into town October 26th of 2018.
3. Beyond Good and Evil 2
Suffering in development hell is a cruel fate for a video game, and much more so for the long-awaited, highly anticipated sequel to beloved 2003 hit Beyond Good and Evil.
Set years before the first game, players won’t find themselves as Jade, the plucky photojournalist and alien conspiracy buster, but as a character of their own creation, traditional RPG style. While the action will still, certainly, be present, the developers have said that the main focus will be exploration of the universe and travel. Player’s will work to earn a spaceship, and crew, so they can explore the many diverse cultures and social systems found on various planets, all while lending a helping hand to the planet’s population.
Head on over to Mammago’s and get yourself a space engine, you’ll be taking to the stars in 2018.
